Today's project is a valentine cookie purse using store bought cookies. I haven't had time to bake. The cookies measure 3" x 3-1/2". I put one cookie in the medium cello bag, folded over the top and used a mini glue dot to secure.
For the purse:
4-1/4" x 10" piece of Real Red CS. In the landscape position, score at 2-1/2", 6" & 7".
On the edge near the 2-1/2" score line, use the Scallop Trim Border Punch.
Center Full Heart Punch on top flap.
Fold on score lines and use Bone Folder for a crisp edge.
Adhere 10" piece of 1/4" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon to top flap.
Cut a piece of 4-1/4" x 2-1/2" piece of Sending Love Specialty Paper and attach to the inside of top flap. This will cover the ribbon ends and be the backdrop for the punched heart.
Cut a piece of 4-1/4" x 1-1/2" Chocolate Chip CS & sponge edges with Classic Chocolate Chip Ink. Adhere to the bottom flap of purse.
Use paper piercer and punch hole in center, insert Sending Love 1/2" Real Red Brad. This will be used to hold the purse closed.
Insert cookie and hold in place with a couple Mini Glue Dots.
