This Years Version of Homemade Christmas Fudge

Hershey Bar Gifts 2

I love making these inexpensive gifts for all the people on my list that I want to give a little something to. My sister made me one a couple years ago and now I make them every year. I send several to school for the nurse, cafeteria workers, janitor, and everybody else Jacob wants to give a gift to. For under $1.50 each, I make bunch. When I find the large Hershey bars (4.4 oz) for $1 ea., I stock up.

I made a few tonight and each one is different:

Supplies:

  • 4.4 oz. Hershey bar and remove the Hershey label
  • Designer paper 6-5/8" x 8"
  • 6" piece of ribbon
  • Cha-Chi's (Christmas embellishments from any craft store or tiny silver & gold bells)
  • Poem

Dashing from the malls,

Another traffic jam this way.

I don’t know how we’ll get done

In time for Christmas Day!

Bells on our cell phones ring,

With presents left to buy.

We have no time for work or play

Life’s so crazy! Why?

Jingle bells, jingle bells,

Jingle all the way.

Oh what fun it is to shop…

Next month I’m going to pay!

A day or two ago,

I thought I’d make a treat.

For all my relatives & friends,

A tasty gift to eat!

My intentions were top notch,

But my schedule would not budge.

Hence here is this year’s version

of…

Homemade Christmas Fudge

I hope you try this project. It's always a big hit!
