Heart Valentine Pop

My project today was made with the Petal Card Die, which I demonstrated last week with the video on how to make the Petal Card Treat Holder for Valentines Day. Unfortunately, Stampin' Up! retired this die (sniff-sniff). I will be placing this die and other retired dies that I have within the next few days or as soon as I photograph them and determine a price and they will be posted with other items on my page titled "For Sale".

So, for those of you that own this die, I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock using the Petal Card Die and punched a half circle using the 1/4" Circle Punch in between two of the petals to allow room for the lollipop stick. I then folded over two of the petals and held them closed with a small piece of Sticky Strip. I cut a heart using the 3rd largest Framelit Heart Die in Love Letters DSP and centered in the heart I created after folding in the two petals. Using the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, I punched in Basic Black Card Stock and cut it in half and layered a 1-3/4" Circle, also cut in half on top of the scallop circle. Adhered both of those pieces with SNAIL adhesive. Inserted my lollipop and tied a bow in Very Vanilla ribbon on the stick.

This project was one of many created this past weekend with my grandchildren and daughter-in-law and I loved every minute of it. I lost count, but somewhere in the neighborhood of 110 to 120 total valentines were created and each child's were completely different for their classmates & teachers. I had planned to take plenty of photos of all the different projects, but I was so tired Saturday night...I forgot.

Enjoy Your Day!
