Valentine Candy Bouquet

Me, the grandchildren and one of my my daughter-in-laws spent Saturday afternoon making Valentines and teacher gifts. One of my granddaughters loves pink and purple, so I had to find candy that was pink, so I purchased these Cherry Charms Blow Pops and decided to make them into flowers for each of her classmates.

Then I thought it would be cute to make her teacher a matching bouquet, so we made more flowers and stuck them in a piece of floral foam in a glass vase I purchased at the dollar store.

  1. We made the flowers using the Flower Folds Die (115970) and 3 different colors of card stock.
  2. I embossed only 1 layer of the flower using Perfect Polka DotsTextured Impressions Embossing Folder (117335) and the Big Shot (113439).
  3. Layered 3 different flower layers and folded on the score lines.
  4. Punched a 3/16" hole in the center and inserted the sucker.
  5. Stamped "Be My Valentine" from P.S. I love you Stamp Set on Whisper White Card Stock.
  6. Punched out the saying with the Word Window Punch (119857).
  7. In coordinating Card Stock, using the Modern Label Punch (119849), layered the greeting.
  8. Using Crop-A-Dile (108362), punched 1/8" hole in tag.
  9. Inserted ribbon and tied onto sucker.
We had a blast making all of these and we made a lot...4 grandchildren...100+ valentines and several teacher gifts, so I'll have more to show you over the next couple days. So, for your next project get the kids involved, family or friends and make some wonder memories together!

Enjoy your day!
