Bowling Theme Birthday Party

My son had a bowling birthday party last Fall, and I made these treat boxes filled with candy for the kiddos. They were really easy. First I filled the bags with candy so I knew how large I would need these to be. I then made just a simple box (Fancy Favor Box Die would also work well) and then used the Circle Scissors Plus and cut out 2 circles larger than the box so it wouldn't be seen. I cut off a small section of the bottom of each circle with my paper trimmer so it would sit flat. Attached with sticky strip to the front & back. I punched out 3 - 1" circles in Basic Black & attached to look like the finger holes.

The invitations were easy too. I first drew a bowling pin and then cut it out for a pattern. I printed the wording on Whisper White CS, then laid my pattern over it and cut out the pin. I added two strips of real red card stock to the neck of the pin and trimmed the excess then sponged the edges lightly with Basic Black ink.

I want to give a great "BIG Thank You" to everyone who clicked on the "Like" button on my Face Book page and the sweet comments that you left. They make my day!! My goal is to get 50-"Likes", so if you have a moment, I would really appreciate if you would check out my facebook page (link is on the right sidebar) and click "Like" up at the top...only need 33 more.
