Punch Art Giraffe Gift Bag

Isn't he just the cutest little thing? As soon as I finished him, I thought he has baby shower written all over him! Make a few...fill with treats and give away as prizes or add a pair of baby booties and a gift card for mommy-to-be.

Here's the punches I used:

Paper: So Saffron (124297), Pumpkin Pie (105117), Whisper White (100730) & Basic Black (121045)
Ink: Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker (100082) and uni-ball Sign Gel Pen (105021)
Punches: 1-3/4" Circle Punch (119850), Extra Large Oval (19859), Modern Label (119849), Blossoms Petals Builder(121808), 3/7" Circle Punch (119873), 1/2" Circle Punch (119869), 3/8" Circle Punch from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309) and the nose was done with 1/8" Circle Punch -Retired (regular hole punch sold as office supply stores will also work).
Ribbon: 1-1/4" Pumpkin Pie Striped Grosgrain -Retired

Here's the directions:
  1. Place 5" x 12" So Saffron CS on Fancy Favor die and cut out using Big Shot.
  2. Fold on score lines and assemble using Sticky Strip.
  3. Sponge edges in Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink.
  4. To attach the handle: 1 pieces of ribbon, approx. 7". Place a small piece on Stick Strip, on the inside, right & left side. Remove red backing and adhere ribbon.
  5. Head & Face: Attach So Saffron XL Oval to So Saffron 1-3/4" circle.
  6. Punch ears using Blossom Petals Builder punch and the smallest (Pumpkin Pie CS) & 2nd smallest petal (So Saffron). Using bone folder or stylus, score center of ear and attach with mini glue dot, SNAIL or 2-way glue pen.
  7. Eyes: attach basic Black 3/8" circle onto Whisper White 1/2" circle. Using white gel pen, make a small dot to make eyes sparkle.
  8. Nose: attach 1/8" Pumpkin Pie circles with 2 way glue pen.
  9. Draw on mouth using Basic Black Stampin' Write marker in Basic Black.
  10. Punch random size circles in Pumpkin Pie CS from 3/8" to 3/4" and attach using adhesive.
  11. Attach 2 Stampin Dimensional to back and adhere to bag and trim bottom of neck even with corner of bag.

  9. For this instance, we need to use craft glue to attach new paper to the old bag. You need to measure the bag to add about four inches. Depending upon your choice, you need to select the best color paper to give a nice finished look.Ours En Peluche GĂ©ant

  10. If you plan on mailing a flat or small gift to someone, use the plastic flat or bubble mailers or even polythene mail order bags that can be found online at most plastic bag websites.
