PPA 209 - Sketch Challenge

Happy Thursday Friends!

Time for a Sketch Challenge at Pals Paper Arts. Nicole Watt has created this fun sketch for us to play with this week. It's perfect for decorative or clean and simple designs. I hope you play along with us.  I always enjoy seeing what you create!

I needed a birthday card quick, so I kept my design simple.
  • The new Moonlight DSP paper stack # 133701 is awesome! It has 48 double sided sheets 4-1/2" x 6-1/2", comes in gorgeous colors and wide variety of designs for stress-free projects.
  • The flower was made with the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set (wood) #128442 or (clear) 125537 and Blossom Punch #125603. It's my go-to set for an easy flower.
  1. Stamp flower image 3 times and punch out using Blossom Punch.
  2. Snip each petal (1/4") towards the center. This will make them easier to curl.
  3. Roll each petal around paint brush handle to curl petals.
  4. Assemble each flower placing a Stampin' Dimensional #104430 in the center of each or use liquid glue.
  5. Poke hole using Paper Piercer # 126189 & insert Antique Brad #117273  in the center.
  6. Lightly sponge petals in coordinating ink.
  7. Tie a loose bow with new Whisper White Seam Binding #134573.
  8. Adhere bow to card front and attach flower on top.

Have a great week!
