PPA 225 - Sketch Challenge

At Pals Paper Arts we have a fun and easy sketch challenge for you! Challenges are a great way to help expand your inspiration and let your creative self out. I hope you play along with us this week. I can't wait to see all the artistic interpretations of this sketch.
  • Put some style in Halloween this year and delight your little ghosts and goblins with goodies wrapped in the Motley Monsters DSP.
  • The Good Greetings Stamp Set is extremely versatile and will cover holidays from Halloween to Valentine's Day and beyond!
  • Stretch your hostess dollars further by purchasing specialty priced hostess-only items. (Annual catalog p.237-239)
  •  What are hostess dollars you ask? You can earn $160 or more by hosting a party for your friends and you'll earn hostess dollars while they shop in person or on-line. It's crazy easy!
  • Contact me at mylittlecraftblog@charter.net  for more information.

PPA 223 - Color Challenge

This week at Pals Paper Arts we have a color challenge to get you in the spirit of Halloween! We invite you to play along with us and create a project using Tangelo Twist, Basic Black and Very Vanilla.

  • That's the ticket stamp set has eight great images that are perfect to add a greeting to a card or project in a slightly different way. There's one for several holidays and general events and they all coordinate with the Ticket Duo Builder punch--every ticket needs to be punched, right?
UNSET
  • Money saving tip: I love to purchase white seam binding and use my Stampin' Up! Inks pads, markers and refills to color the ribbon. I also use the StazOn ink pad to color the seam binding black. I just run the ink pad directly across the dry ribbon and let air dry and use my Heat Tool to set.

  • Click here to view this weeks money saving deals! Items are available while supplies last.

Pals Blog Hop: Halloween & Harvest

Welcome to the October Pals Blog Hop where we are celebrating an early Halloween and Harvest season. This month we are sharing Halloween and fall projects using our wonderful Stampin’ Up! supplies.

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Amanda Merrill at Inkflair #11 on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

For my project, I chose an old favorite of mine, these sweet little, candy boxes. I'm sure you have seen them before and I always enjoy making them for the holidays. Filled with candy, they make the perfect little gift. I make extra and keep a larger one for my desk at the office.

They can be made in 3 sizes; small, medium and large. The one in the photo is perfect for holding smaller candy like Hershey Kisses, Candy Corn, etc. Plus, it's great way for me to  use up all those scraps of  DSP and ribbon I hoard.

Each size is made the same way and dimensions are listed below. To see an older video click here.

Small: 6" x 6" CS, score @ 2" on all 4 sides, 8 pcs. DSP 1-3/4" x 1-3/4"
Medium: 9" x 9" CS, score @ 3" on all 4 sides, 8 pcs. DSP 2-3/4" x 2-3/4"
Large: 12" x 12" CS, score @ 4" on all 4 sides, 8 pcs. DSP 3-3/4" x 3-3/4"

The next stop is the wonderfully talented  Brian King at Stamp with Brian  #13 on the Pals Blog Hop! I know Brian will have something spectacular to share with you. Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you next month.
